BIOGRAPHY:

* During law school, Megan was a research assistant at the Duke University Center for Science and Justice, where she conducted comprehensive research and compiled data on forensic evidence presented in North Carolina capital trials. During her time with the Duke Law Wrongful Convictions Clinic, she and her team were able to secure their client's release after more than five years of wrongful incarceration. Megan was also an extern for the ACLU Capital Punishment Project.

* Megan was also the comment & student note editor for the Alaska Law Review. Her note, which discussed the barriers to justice for missing and murdered indigenous women in Alaska, was selected for publication.
